Welcome to the athletics department of the Vernon Parish School Board.  Athletics, like all extracurricular endeavors, is an important part of our school system.  Through the various sports, students gain a stronger sense of self and accomplishment.  They learn how to be part of a team while gaining tools necessary to later apply to their career. These include how to be coached, how to persevere toward a common goal, and how to communicate.
