LHS Student Passes State Advanced Credential - Autodesk Inventor Professional

Autodesk Inventor is professional level CAD software used for product design and engineering, including 3D mechanical design, simulation, tool creation, and design communication. With Inventor, you can save time and expense when making products.

Mr. Derek Toro joined the Leesville High School Faculty for the 2023-24 school year and brought some amazing talent and certifications in CTE software and programs.  His knowledge, passion, and energy brings a new facet of Career Technical Education (CTE) to Leesville High School and Vernon Parish.

Josh Wilhelm recently passed the Autodesk Inventor Certification test. When asked, Josh was very excited that he earned his Autodesk Inventor Certification.  He said,  "Once you pass one of life's hurdles, don't stop, but look for the next hurdle to overcome."  He is ready to update his resume and get his name out in the engineering world!

This course was administered in the newly dedicated DCIP technology building on the Leesville High School Campus.
